Store Terms and Shipping Policy

​I am a builder and collector of LEGO who also dabbles in buying and selling LEGO sets on the side. I sell mostly new sets, and I am slowly building up my used set inventory.

  • All sets are kept in a smoke-free, climate-controlled environment.

  • All used sets have been inventoried, and any missing, chipped or dented parts have been replaced to the best of my ability.

  • Allergy notice: there may be occasional cat hair. 

New Set Conditions

​​New Set Conditions:
  • Sealed - Complete: The seals have never been opened. Contents include parts, usually instructions, possibly stickers and the box. Any missing parts would be the responsibility of the manufacturer. The box may exhibit normal shelf wear, minimal or significant damage. Box conditions outside of normal shelf wear will be noted and photographed.

  • Open - Complete: The seals have been opened. Contents include parts, usually instructions, possibly stickers and the box. Part bags may be sealed or opened, but all parts are accounted for. The box (if any) may exhibit normal shelf wear, minimal or significant damage. 

  • Open - Incomplete: The seals have been opened. Contents include parts, usually instructions, possibly stickers and the box. Part bags may be sealed or opened and some parts are missing and/or minifigures have been removed. The box (if any) may exhibit normal shelf wear, minimal or significant damage.

Used Set Conditions:
  • Display - Complete: This set was built for display only and returned to box. All parts have been put back in the numbered bags per the instruction book. All parts required for completing the set are accounted for, extra parts are not included, all minifigures are accounted for, stickers if any have already been applied by an adult, instructions [in most cases] and box are included. Please review the condition notes carefully.

  • Played - Complete: This set was used for play and returned to box. Parts are used and may exhibit minor scratches and dings. Minifigures are accounted for, all parts are accounted for, extra parts are not included, stickers have already been applied by an adult, instructions [in most cases] and box are included. Please review the condition notes carefully.

  • Display / Played - Incomplete: This set was used for play and found in various states. Parts are used and may exhibit minor scratches and dings. Minifigures may or may not be accounted for, all parts may or may not be accounted for, extra parts are not included, stickers may or may not have already been applied by an adult, instructions and box may or may not be included. Please review the condition notes carefully.

Minifigure Conditions:
  • Sealed - Complete: never assembled, sealed boxes were scanned with Minifig Scan app to confirm contents. 

  • Open - Complete: never assembled, foil packs or boxes were opened to confirm contents are complete and will be shipped without the foil pack or box in a sealed baggie.

  • Display - Complete: assembled for display only, accessories included, extra parts are not included, may or may not come with instructions. Minifigure is in excellent condition.

  • Played - Complete: assembled for play, accessories may or may not be included, extra parts are not included. Minifigure is in average condition for a toy that was played with, this includes light scuffing or scratches, but no teeth marks.

Box Conditions:

If there are no extra comments in the set description about the box condition that means the box tends to be in the same condition as found at any retail store. If there is something more extensive, I will note it and provide photographs.


Do not be surprised to find the following new box conditions:

  • Typical wear and tear from being moved around and stocked in a retail store or warehouse

  • Cosmetic damage incurred during shipping

  • Minor dings, dents, or creases

Used set boxes will generally have more wear and tear due to being opened, closed, and moved around vs new set boxes.

NOTE: If you are all about the box and pristine box conditions, please shop elsewhere as my focus is on completed sets not pristine boxes.

Orders

Order Timing:

I strive to process all orders in a timely manner once payment has been received and cleared through a payment platform. If you have any information about your order that I need to know before processing it, please add a note to your order or message me directly. Should I be unable to ship your order in a timely manner, I will communicate any delay to you directly.


When you are ready to order, please note that your payment account should reflect your current shipping address. I only ship to the address on your payment account.


I have no minimum order purchase.


If you are unsure about an order and pricing, please message me for a quote.

Order Status:
  • Paid – I have received you payment, but have not begun working on your order.

  • Packed – Item has been pulled and boxed up for shipping.

  • Shipped – Your order has been picked up by USPS or UPS.

Payments:

Accepted payment platforms for Buyers in USA: PayPal or Stripe

Accepted currencies: US Dollar

 

Please pay promptly. Orders will be cancelled if payment has not been received within 7 business days of placing the order.

 

For large orders, an invoice will be sent with the calculated shipping costs. Invoiced orders must be paid within 48 hours of submission or the order will be cancelled.

The Brick Snap LLC reserves the right to cancel any large orders from zero to low feedback buyers.

​

 

Communication:

I strive to provide excellent customer service, please feel free to ask me questions about my inventory and should anything be wrong with an order please reach out to me and give me an opportunity to make things right before you leave feedback. And if I have any questions about your order, I will reach out to you promptly. You can use the platform's messaging service or email me directly at info@thebricksnap.com.

Returns & Refunds:

I do not grant full refunds. If you are unsatisfied with your purchase you can request a return authorization and if accepted you will be responsible for returning the order in same condition as it was shipped to you, the return shipping fee, and a 25% restocking fee.

  • Brand new sealed sets that burst open or come unsealed due to carrier handling at any point during transit/delivery are non-returnable/non-refundable.

​

If a buyer requests a sealed set to be shipped without the box to save on shipping costs, the buyer accepts all responsibility for the purchase once paid for. Because removing bags from a sealed box decreases a set’s value, I cannot accept returns on these sets. If there is an issue related to missing bags or pieces I can provide the full unboxing and order packing video/pictures and if I am at fault I will do my best to make it right. If, however, something is missing due to LEGO's manufacturing process or the postal carrier's shipping process, the buyer will be responsible for reaching out to either LEGO or shipping carrier's customer service.

Feedback:

I strive to offer a positive buying experience. I will post seller feedback once you have received the order and marked is as Received on Brick Owl or District.

If your order has an issue such as a missing or damaged part, please let me know within 30 days of your order. I would love the opportunity to make it right.

​

Orders will be marked complete after 30 days if not done sooner by buyer.

Shipping Policy

Shipping

Shipping Policy:

​​All orders are shipped out on Wednesdays and Saturdays. I am closed over the weekend. Your order is officially received when I come in on Monday morning.

  • Orders received between Wednesday and Friday will ship out on Saturday.

  • Orders received between Saturday and Tuesday will ship out on Wednesday.

  • Orders are shipped via USPS (Ground Advantage or Priority) or UPS and include tracking, delivery confirmation, and $100 insurance. 

  • I offer free local pickup to customers who live within a 50 mile radius of Snellville, Georgia.

  • I do not ship outside of the USA at this time.

Please make sure your payment address is correct as I only ship to the payment address on file with your payment provider (PayPal or Stripe). 

  • If the name on your shipping label is different than the name on your platform account, please mention it in the note field. (ex. account name under Sue Smith, name on label Brick Chix). 

 

For large sets, if the set box is not important to you, I am willing to ship the inner bags and instructions in a smaller box to save on your shipping charge.

  • Orders shipped this way are non-returnable/non-refundable.

  • Please message me before placing your order.

 

For all orders over $100.00, the only shipping method available is 'Request Quote'. To protect both the buyer and the seller, an Adult Signature Service will be added to all orders over $100.00. Additional insurance may also be purchased at the buyer's request. Please message me to discuss.

  • Adult Signature Service $8.40 [requires ID presented when signing]

  • Additional Insurance for value between $100.01 and $200.00 - $4.40

  • Additional Insurance for value between $200.01 and $300.00 - $4.45

Once orders are mailed, I am not responsible for loss of or damage to your package. I can quote you the cost of insurance prior to your order being placed if necessary. I will work with you to help locate missing packages, but once I hand the package off to the Post Office or other shipping carriers, it is out of my hands.


I take care to ensure my packaging is able to more than just survive the trip through multiple sorting centers, trucks, planes, being tossed, having boxes thrown on top, etc. Any damage endured during shipment is not the responsibility of The Brick Snap LLC and is not able to be returned for full refund or replacement.

Packaging:
  • All New-in-Box sets and Used-in-Box sets are shipped in an outer box.*

  • If you don’t require the set box, please message me for a shipping quote without box. I will ship just the parts bags and instructions in a smaller outer box or bubble package.

  • All new minifigures are unassembled and will ship in a separate bag inside the shipping package. Same for used minifigures, but they will be assembled.

*Outer boxes and interior packaging materials may be new or clean recycled materials.

Shipping Pricing:

Shipping price is based on weight of items and packing material, and the distance traveling. As shipping prices fluctuate, the best option is to request a quote or invoice to determine current shipping rates. I will use the cheapest shipping option when invoicing unless you request a particular shipping method. 

 

  • USPS Ground Advantage - 2 to 5 Business days [starts at $4.50 and goes up]

  • USPS Priority Mail (flat rate) - 2 to 3 Business days [starts at $11.20 and goes up to $28.35]

    • Padded Flat Rate Envelope $11.20​

    • Small Flat Rate Box $11.40

    • Medium Flat Rate Box Top Load $19.20

    • Medium Flat Rate Box Side Load $19.20

    • Large Flat Rate Box $28.35

  • USPS Priority Mail (any box)- 2 to 3 Business days [starts at $8.18 and goes up]

  • UPS Ground - 5 to 7 Business days [best for large packages and most reliable]

Shipping Methods for Buyers in USA:
  • Request Quote / Invoice - Understand the shipping cost first [Choosing this method will cause a shipping quote to be created. This will be the cheapest possible shipping method and will most likely NOT BE Priority Mail.]

  • Local Pickup - In person pickup, you must pay for order and sales tax [This option is for local buyers only. Please do not select this option if you are outside of the Metro Atlanta, Georgia area. If you are outside of the metro area, your order will be cancelled.] This option is by appointment only, we will meet at the Snellville Police Station on Wisteria Drive as I do not have a physical store.

  • USPS Ground Advantage Request Invoice - Select your preferred carrier and understand the shipping cost first [Choosing this method will cause a shipping quote to be created.]

  • USPS Priority Any Box Request Invoice - Select your preferred carrier and understand the shipping cost first [Choosing this method will cause a shipping quote to be created.]

  • USPS Priority Flat Rate - Whatever fits in the flat rate box [This option is only available for items that will fit in the flat rate boxes.]

  • UPS Ground Request Invoice - Select your preferred carrier and understand the shipping cost first [Choosing this method will cause a shipping quote to be created.]
